EFT Tapping Script for Fear and Overwhelm

Melissa Lynn Sharp standing with a chainsaw in rugged terrain, representing resilience, capability, and finding strength during uncertain times.

The world feels different than it did before 2019. The political landscape has shifted, technology is accelerating, information is becoming harder to navigate, and many people are finding it more difficult to anticipate what comes next.

What’s real, not AI?

What’s true, not misinformation?

Who can we actually trust?

If you're feeling some pressure around these questions and the state of the world, you're not alone. The Tapping script below is designed to help ease those feelings and take your power back.

Even if you've never tried tapping, it's a simple enough process to be effective on your first attempt. It’s a powerful tool that has pulled me out of extremely distraught emotional places and helped with long-term healing.

I wrote this script as quick Tapping session that would be applicable for everyone. If you have never had any EFT experience, I have built a free guide to the Tapping points to jumpstart your practice.

TAPPING SCRIPT: FINDING STRENGTH IN UNCERTAIN TIMES

KC: Even though I feel afraid and uncertain about my future and the stability of our world, I deeply and completely love and accept myself. [Repeat 3x]

FIRST ROUND [Clearing the negative]

EB: Life on this planet is changing so fast. I’m afraid of how unfamiliar everything feels.

SE: There is so much conflicting information that I don’t even know what’s true anymore. It’s completely overwhelming.

UE: That makes me fear the future, for myself, the ones I love, and the world as a whole.

UN: How are we going to get through this? How are we going to navigate something that feels this overwhelming?

CP: Sometimes it feels like it’s impossible to win or get ahead, like we’re on a downward spiral towards a terrible end. At least, that’s what the media portrays.

CB: I don’t know if I have the strength and resilience to face all the things that scare me in life.

UA: I’m afraid of failing. What if I go broke or get sick? What if I can’t make sense of the political change and what’s happening in the world on a global scale?

TH: I’m afraid of not being able to control my situation. I feel powerless against the world around me.

SECOND ROUND [Reinforcing positive]

EB: But I know, deep down, that I am capable. I am a powerful creator, and I can choose what I contribute to the world around me.

SE: No, I can’t see the future, but I release my need to anticipate it.

UE: I choose to keep my power instead of controlling all aspects of my life. I use this energy to strengthen myself.

UN: I know that I am strong enough to handle whatever comes, whenever life takes me to a new and unfamiliar place.

CP: I have faith that life has my back and all my adversities I can use as a springboard to a better future.

CB: Every good intention and loving thought I hold makes the world a better place. As I heal myself, I heal the world around me.

UA: As I allow my true power to shine through, I allow everyone around me to step into their power as well.

TH: I am full of love and confidence, excited about all the future holds, brimming with creative power to solve all challenges that lie ahead.

KC: even though I feel nervous and unsure about the future and my place in it, I deeply and completely love and accept myself and step unapologetically into my power. [Repeat 3x]
