The Fiercest Power We Hold
When pain feels unbearable, the answer is still love.
When the world around us crumbles into chaos, the answer is still love.
When darkness presses in, tempting us to collapse, the answer is still love—because love is more powerful than darkness will ever be.
But love must be chosen.
Love is not weakness; it is the fiercest power we hold.
Leading with an open heart is not easy. Gratitude and compassion feel risky, even counterintuitive, in a world that seems too broken to deserve them. An open heart is vulnerable; it lets in every emotion, even the ones we’d rather avoid. But this is the work—the only work that can change us, and by extension, change the world.
Every challenge is an invitation: not to harden, but to grow stronger and more open. A closed heart becomes numb, even violent. But when we learn to meet emotions as passing experiences—not identities—they can flow through us, teach us, and leave. Feeling fully is how we heal.
The world will give you every reason to turn your back on it, to turn your back on love. To lose faith in humanity and withdraw your belief that things can ever get better. Hardening against the violence of the world will only ever create more violence as that world becomes less feeling and more hopeless. Don’t ever allow the acts of others to turn you cold against the beauty of life itself.
We are all here to coexist in a heartbreaking and beautiful dance of supporting and teaching one another. Often that is devastating and messy.
The best thing you can do, for yourself and for the world, is to keep feeling everything. Keep your heart open, to both love and the gutting rawness of heartbreak. Feel what it’s like to fully process this human experience. You were never meant to be numb to it.
In all things, in all ways, choose love. Let it guide your actions. As you heal yourself, you heal the world. Love, compassion and gratitude are the only force that will bring us home.
